Where it comes from?  

The mousepad was actually made by the "Crack Pots" at  “HardOCP”. The benefits for having mousepads actually made by people in the industry is that you actually get what you want in the product and basically you get what most other products are missing. The last thing you want is a few butt-f**k’s sitting in a office trying to find a way to boost share value in the next quarter and they see there is  becoming a market for mouse pads so decide to slap something together and call it a mousepad.

All about the Ratpadz…  

I remember a while back now CyRex told me about this new kind of mousepad he ordered and received in the mail called the “Everglide Attack Pad”. He was so excited about this thing he was like a "Virgin with a Prostitute". I tried his new mousepad and liked the surface but never had the heart to tell him that the thing was the size of a coaster.

I short while after I came across the Ratpadz and I ordered it immediately.

I received the Ratpadz and slapped it on my desk right away. My first thoughts were this thing is KICK ASS. I called CyRex right away to tell him I received the Ratpadz. He came over to see what it was all about. I have to say if you ever wanted to see a grown man cry then you should of seen CyRex that day. Once he found out that mine not only kicked ass but it was bigger and cheaper the tears started to roll…:)

Actually the Ratpadz had such an effect that Everglide came out with the Giganta to compete.

The Ratpadz is 9.5” in height and 11.5 in width, which is perfect size and more than enough. It has an arch on the bottom that is great for your wrist and gel wrist gel pad.

The Ratpadz is black in color, which will match anything and will work great with any optical mice, lighter colors and glass mouse pads have some problems with the optical.

The sides of the Ratpadz are shaved down for comfort on your wrist. The last thing you need is the mousepad stabbing you in the wrist…..trust me this is not a comfortable feeling after hours on the computer.

The surface of the mouse pad is made by “Ultraslick” polymar which means you can do virtually anything with the Ratpadz without harming performance and cleans easily with soapy water or a mild glass cleaner like Windex.

Last but not least the Ratpadz comes with 9 rubber feet to stop it from sliding all over your desk.
